About

SharksThe only traveling shark show in the country welcomes you. Haai Inc. founded in 2004 was originally a division of Squalus Inc. founded by former circus performers Philip and Marco Peters in 1995. Would you like to experience one of the most fascinating sea creatures up close? Then make sure you visit the Live Shark Encounter!

One look into the eyes of a live shark and you will experience the  heart pounding “awe and fascination” that sharks elicit. Sharks have captured our imaginations for thousands of years, stirring the fears and fascination of ocean goers and scientists alike. Their legacy has been as misunderstood as it has been “old and bloody”. Now more than ever, the importance of understanding this fascinating species is critical for its survival. Come, learn and be entertained at the Haai, Inc. Live Shark Experience!

Not only will you see a diver swim with the sharks, you may be selected out of the audience to assist in the show, we want to make sure our aquarium glass is safe and the sharks aren’t going to swim out! Everyone can also visit our shark museum and see what it’s like to be in a diver’s cage and visit a giant ancient shark jaw! There are shark teeth, items found in the bellies of sharks, videos, and posters to learn about this wonderful creature!

Haai Inc. is dedicated to the preservation of the shark species as well as all wildlife. In an effort to assist in the efforts to preserve sharks, we make every effort to obtain sharks that are already in captivity due to injury or capture by people who do not understand the requirements of caring for sharks. We partner with aquariums across the country to not only obtain our sharks but also to provide a place for them to “retire” at our seasons end. We hope that through our education and preservation efforts we in our own small way will help to allow the shark species to thrive now and for the future.

The show begins…

Captain Rick The infamous “JAWS” music begins the show as the hydraulic door to the 5000 gallon aquarium slowly rises with smoke billowing from below. As the smoke clears the sharks appear swimming within the tank. The diver, Philip Peters will provide educational and entertaining information about the sharks before entering the tank. After watching the sharks for any aggressive behavior, the diver cautiously comes into close contact with the creature that elicits more fear and fascination than any other creature in the sea.

While the diver is in the tank our announcer “Captain Rick” shares more information about sharks and explains the actions of the diver.

Great White Once the show concludes the audience is invited for a close up view of the sharks and the staff will be on hand to answer any questions the public has.
